Installation Day Facts

Installation technicians will need approximately 2ft in front of each window or door requiring work inside your home. Please move aside any furnishings or computer equipment that may hinder installation. All window coverings & blinds will need to be removed before installation. Delicate plants & shrubs located in areas immediately below a window should be temporarily relocated if they cannot survive potentially being stepped on. Be advised that all water-damaged plaster will most likely fall out if you have aluminum windows. We love animals; however, we ask that you supervise them closely during installation. Please keep your fur babies in a safe place during the job. Also, for the installer's sake, please secure any dogs that have an aggressive bark towards strangers. Please be ready to move your vehicle so the technicians can have a workstation. Upon completion of the job the crew leader will want you to inspect the finished job to ensure your total satisfaction and collect the balance of the contract on that day.

How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?

Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Your security company should remove and turn off security sensors. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows, as they may fall during removal or installation.

Retrofit Windows

Due to wear and tear over time, it can be necessary to replace windows using retrofit installation. This is a great option because it takes minimal disruption for maximum efficiency. Your new windows are simply inserted into the opening, screwed into the home's framing, insulated and finished with exterior and interior sealant. Then we take your old windows, our tarps, and any dust or debris we created out to our truck, and that's it!

Quality Inspection

When the installation is complete, we'll take you on a final walk-through to ensure you are completely satisfied. The job site will be thoroughly cleaned, and before we leave, our crew will answer any questions you may have on how to operate or clean the windows.
